Jane Harris Anderson

Jane Harris Anderson, 75, of Batesburg, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Born in Saluda County on June 3, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice Rowe Harris. Mrs. Anderson loved to cook for everyone and was the owner/operator of the Circle Diner for many years. She also loved to garden and tend to flowers.

Surviving are her son, Charles Anderson (Christie); grandsons, Tom Anderson (Courtney) and Jamie Anderson; a great-granddaughter, Ellaree Kate, and soon-to-be great-grandson, Boyce Anderson. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Kendra Anderson; her sister, Nancy Hurt and brother, Davy Harris (Joyce). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry William Anderson; son, Wayne Anderson; and brothers, Fred Harris and Gene Harris.

The graveside service for Mrs. Anderson will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, May 10th, at the Bedenbaugh Cemetery at Clyde's Chapel Southern Methodist Church with Rev. Burton Campbell officiating. Milton Shealy Funeral Home is assisting the family.
