Janet Haviland Mitchell

Mrs. Janet Haviland Morris Mitchell, widow of the late Alan Mitchell passed away peacefully Thursday morning at the Place at Pepper Hill following a lengthy illness.

Born on June 17, 1936 in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Herbert & Elizabeth Jenkins Morris. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-laws, Jonathan & Nancy Mitchell of Hebron, CT and Douglas & Tamara Mitchell of Port Orchard, WA; and 1 daughter, Mindy Ouellette of Buena Vista, Virginia.

Interment services will take place in Columbia Cemetery, Columbia, CT as a later time.
