Jason Edward Brunson, 51, of Batesburg, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, he was the son of Deborah Joyce Warren and the late Joseph Edward Brunson.
Jason was a free spirit who embraced life with a sense of adventure. He developed a love for traveling at a young age and enjoyed exploring new places and experiences. With an independent and creative spirit, Jason ventured into entrepreneurship by starting his own clothing business. He also enjoyed skateboarding and baseball. Above all, Jason loved his family and cherished the time spent with those closest to him.
In addition to his mother, Deborah, he is survived by his sister, Bridgett Karpinski (Wayne); nieces and nephew, Danielle Tilson, Lori Haag Fulmer (John David), Michael Haag and Cassie Tilson; along with a host of extended family members.
In accordance with Jason's wishes, no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Milton Shealy Funeral Home, c/o Jason Brunson, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
