Jean Marie Carter

A memorial service for Jean Marie Carter will take place on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 6pm at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. The family will receive friends from 5pm until the time of the service.

Mrs. Carter, 62, of Aiken, died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at her residence.

Born in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of Stephen Snoha and the late Cecilia Cannon. On September 1, 1970, she married Frank Carter and traveled with him as his work took him throughout the Country until they settled in Aiken in 1989.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Carter, Aiken; a daughter, Jennifer "Jenny: Elmgreen, Grovetown, GA; her father, Stephen Snoha, Palm Bay, FL, four brothers and two sisters; two grandchildren, Alyssa Elmgreen and Vienna Elmgreen and three, step-grandchildren.
