Jean Hampton Henry

Mrs. Jean Hampton Henry, 73, of Aiken, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, Aiken.

Mrs. Henry was born in Bryson City, NC and was a daughter of the late John & Lassie Holbrooks Hampton. She was a member of All Saints Anglican Church and was a retired Executive Director with Red Cross in Aiken. She was preceded in death by her brothers Donnie Parker and Johnny Hampton.

Survivors include: her husband, Robert E. Henry of Aiken; daughters, Rebecca Corbin Cary Becker of Wilmington, NC and Gina Corbin Strickland of Greenville, SC; sisters, Ernestine Shelton Arvil of Hood River, Oregon and Gwen Eddy Marion of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Keith Parker Jean of Midlethion, Texas and Benny Hampton Karen of Franklin, NC; grandchildren, Rebecca Strickland of Greenville, Chloe Becker and Iain Becker both of Wilmington.
