Jeffery Myron Heath

Captain Jeffery Myron Heath, 86, of Aiken, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at home surrounded by his family. Born on February 4, 1940, he was the son of the late Edwin Louis Heath and Harriet E. Jeffery Heath.

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jeffery answered the call to serve and spent 30 years in the United States Navy, retiring at the rank of Captain. He and his wife, Sandra, made their home in Aiken 38 years ago, and it remained his home for the rest of his life. Jeff was happiest with a fishing line in the water or a cold beer in hand, and spending time with his friends at Whiskey Bent, where he will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his three children, Leslie, Jeff, and Tom; daughter-in-law, Kathy; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra Heath.

At Jeff’s request, no funeral services will be held. Burial with military honors will take place at Beaufort National Cemetery, at a later date.
