Jeffery Carroll Higgenbotham

Funeral services for Mr. Jeffery Carroll Higgenbotham will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken, with Mark Hudson, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in New Holland Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Flint Thomas, Duffy Brown, Tim Crouch, Brian Lynch, David Wilson, and Jesus Duarte. Honorary pallbearer will be Leslie Gantt. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Mr. Higgenbotham, 42, of Aiken, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 at his residence.

A lifelong resident of Aiken, he was the son of Carroll Higgenbotham and the late Mary "Libby" Franklin Higgenbotham. Jeffery was an integral part of the Narcotics Anonymous, "The Breath Group", Christian Motorcyclist Association, The Start Program at Aiken Christian Outreach Ministries, Hospital and Institution Twelve Step Program. He attended Aiken Church of Christ. He was a welder. He worked for Enloe Residential for three years and with Carolina Tire Company for the past twelve years.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sisters, Kim David Parker, Aiken, Lynn Ken Beasley, Miami, FL, brother, Andy Higgenbotham, Aiken, special friends, Diana Harrison, and Flint Thomas.
