Joann K. Minnick

AIKEN, SC – Joann K. Minnick, age 77, died September 16, 2022, at Aiken Regional Medical Center following an illness.

Joann was born February 14, 1945, in Mckeesport, PA to the late Oiny Gimeno and the late Roberta Gimeno. She was passionate about animals and animal therapy. She volunteered and supported Love on Leashes. She was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, and friend. She had great group of friends and they loved her in return. Joann loved Aiken, its southern charm, and the equestrian atmosphere.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Command Sergeant Major Tommy Minnick, US Army (Ret.).

Survivors are two children, Jeffery Dolan (Pat) and Cheryl Haber (Larry).

Services will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
