John Boyd
January 1, 1940 — September 29, 2016
Funeral services for John Boyd, 76, of Aiken, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Howard. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Memorial donations may be made to Millbrook Baptist Church.
Mr. Boyd, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Born in Griffin, Georgia, he was a son on of the late Augustus and Abbie Thomas Boyd. Mr. Boyd was a US Navy Veteran, having served 20 years. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Body.
Survivors include his loving wife, Del Boyd of Aiken; sons, David Boyd (Gloria) of N. Augusta and Michael Boyd of Aiken and 2 grandchildren, Timothy Boyd of N. Dakota and Jillian Boyd of Aiken.
