John Earl Galamback, 77, of Aiken, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Born in Chicago, Illinois, John was a devoted husband, a man of faith, and a proud veteran. He was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and served in the United States Army. John worked as a nuclear consultant at the Savannah River Site.

He enjoyed golf and was a longtime member of Woodside Country Club, where he spent many good days on the course.

John is survived by his wife, Jo; his siblings, Jerry Galamback (Patty), Jackie Teetes (Jim), and Karl Galamback; his brothers-in-law, Terry Shepitka and Jim Shepitka; and his sisters-in-law, Chris Sako (Ken) and Jeanne Shepitka; along with several nieces, nephews and many close friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Karl and Joanne Galamback; and his brother and sister-in-law, Joel and Melanie Shepitka.

A Requiem Mass will be held Thursday, December 11th, at 10:00 AM at Old St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.

John will be remembered for his quiet strength, his loyalty, and the love he shared with those close to him.
