John William Franklin Garner

John William Franklin Garner, 49, of Leesville, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026. Born in Newberry, he was a son of the late Robert and Deborah Ann McGee Garner. John enjoyed the simple things in life, especially spending time with his family. He loved watching football with his brother, a pastime that brought him great joy and many cherished memories.

Surviving are his siblings, April Boone (Kenny) and Jason Garner (Amber); nieces and nephews, Bobbie Ann Boone Speaks (Tay), Katarinnia Boone, Greggory Boone, and Harley Cook (Brandon); and great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan Ann, Desmound, Brandon, Jr., and Anna Lynn.

A memorial service to honor John’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Milton Shealy Funeral Home, 115 North Pine Street, Batesburg, SC 29006, to help offset funeral arrangements.
