John T. Halbrook

Funeral services for Mr. John T. Halbrook will be private.

Mr. Halbrook, 65, of Burnettown, SC, husband of Mrs. Karen Tomich Halbrook, died Sunday, night, April 18, 2004 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in Guntersville, AL, a son of the late Ezra Hosea and Berta Tubbs Halbrook, he had been a resident of Burnettown, SC for the past year and a half. A Vietnam veteran, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. His career as a Correctional Officer took he had his wife all over the United States and even Mexico.

In addition to his wife of almost twenty-eight years, Mrs. Karen Tomich Halbrook, a sister, Hazel Whittington, Aiken, SC; niece, Susan Crosby, nephew, Arthur Whittington, Jr., and a great-niece, Holly Eubanks, survive.

The family has asked that memorials in memory of Mr. Halbrook be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Drawer K., Aiken, SC 29802.
