John Joseph Stanwick

Mr. Stanwick, 83, of Aiken, died Saturday, January 12, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Andrew and Adele Switocha Stanwick. He lived in Summerville, SC, and Holyoke, MA before moving to Aiken in 2004. He retired from the Civil Service in fuel systems maintenance. He served his country in the Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Christine Cooper Stanwick, one daughter, seven stepchildren, one brother, one sister, one grandchild, eight step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren, and one godchild.
