Jonathon Maroney
August 16, 1979 — March 24, 2023
Jonathon Wayne Maroney, 43, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023. Mr. Maroney was born in Augusta, GA, a son of Teresa M. Cockrell and the late Anthony D. Maroney. He grew up in Monetta and Gilbert and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Maroney had a talent for drawing and woodworking projects.
Surviving are his mother, Teresa M. Cockrell; brother, Justin Cockrell (Julia); and many loving extended family members. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Barbara Meyer and paternal grandparents, Nolan and Armogene Maroney.
The graveside service for Jonathon will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 6th, at Ridge Crest Memorial Park.
