Jose Luis Lopez, Sr.

Jose Luis Lopez, Sr. passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 surrounded by his kids and siblings. He was born November 11, 1958 in San Juan Palmira Municipio de Chavinda to Jose Lopez Prado and Maria Concepcion Camacho del Rio.

Jose is survived by his wife, Teresa; three children, Jose Luis, Jr., Vanessa, and Vickie; his father Jose; siblings, Jesus, Maria, Raul, Javier, Martha, Dolores, Armando, and Raquel; and many neices and nephews.

Jose loved helping others and loved his family. He loved to dance, going on bike rides, and painting. Jose also enjoyed working on his yard and tending to his garden, watching baseball and soccer, and playing his harmonica.

He was loved by many. Please join us to give Jose his last goodbye. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 1:00p.m. at St. Mary Help of Christians Church, 138 Fairfield St, 138 Fairfield St, SE, Aiken SC 29801 with Father Orlando Serranno Ardila as celebrant

Final rites and commendation will follow in Southlawn Cemetery & Mausoleum, 4524 Whiskey Road, Aiken, SC 29803.

A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 5:00p.m. in the Hitoric George Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation wil take place from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 p.m.

José Luis López, Sr. falleció el miércoles 26 de abril de 2023 rodeado de sus hijos y hermanos. Nació el 11 de noviembre de 1958 en San Juan Palmira Municipio de Chavinda, hijo de José López Prado y María Concepción Camacho del Río.

A José le sobreviven su esposa, Teresa; tres hijos, José Luis, Jr., Vanessa y Vickie; su padre José; hermanos, Jesús, María, Raúl, Javier, Martha, Dolores, Armando y Raquel; y muchos sobrinos y sobrinos.

A José le encantaba ayudar a los demás y amaba a su familia. Le encantaba bailar, dar paseos en bicicleta y pintar. José también disfrutaba trabajando en su jardín y cuidando su jardín, viendo béisbol y fútbol, y tocando su armónica. Fue amado por muchos.
