Joseph A. Miano

A Funeral Liturgy for Joseph "Joe" Miano will be celebrated at 6 pm Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the Historic GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm prior to the service.

Mr. Miano, 80, of Aiken, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he was a son of the late Sebastian and Gertrude Miano. After 34 years of service, Joe retired from Ecolab. He was an avid sports fan, and diehard Miami Hurricanes fan, but most importantly, he was a family man.

Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Dot Miano, of Aiken; her children, Sharon Maher (Tom) of Westfield, NJ, Gary Miano (Jensy) of Mirimar, Florida, Nancy Miano of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Tom Miano of Aiken, a brother, Ronald Miano (Cyndi) of St. Louis, Missouri and 4 grandchildren, Brian, Molly, Donovan and Daniella.
