Kareen Chelberg

Funeral Services for Kareen Chelberg will be private. Kareen, 69, of Aiken, passed away with grace and beauty Saturday, July 18, 2009 at her residence.

Born on April 20, 1940, she was a tremendous mother, fabulous wife, woman and nurse. Lover of all animals and the living definition of the "can-do, never quit" attitude. She left us too soon.

Survived by Husband, Lt. General Ret Robert D. Chelberg, Daughter Carrie Stinner of Aiken, Son Jeff Coffman and his partner Dave Drake of Phoenix, AZ. Also survived by her new family, son Robert T. Chelberg and his son Robert Jr. of Prague, Czech Republic, and Daughter Kathryn Rhoad, her husband Billy and their children Whitney and Duncan of Bamberg, SC.
