Karen A. Clark

Karen Alice Clark, 56, of Pelion, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. Mrs. Clark was the daughter of Belton Decater Clark and Linell Sue Gantt. She was a member of Old Samaria Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Clark; son, Shawn Clark; and grandchildren, Logan McCormick, Heaven Peterson, and Dean Dougherty. Also surviving are her brothers, Jamie Clark, Clayton Vaughn, and Melvin Vaughn; sisters, Amy Nettles, Tammy Slice, and Linda Vaughn; a special friend, Kim Harbert; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by brothers, David Clark and Tommy Vaughn.

The funeral service for Mrs. Clark will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, January 14th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with burial following in Florence Baptist Church Cemetery, 1720 Windy Wood Rd, Pelion, SC 29123. Pastor Irenne Derrick of Celebration Church Fellowship, Batesburg, will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
