Katheryn Elaine Gillette, 71, of Batesburg, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014. Ms. Gillette was born in Oktibbeha, Mississippi, daughter of the late Albert Thomas and Billie Mae Thigpen Burnett. Surviving are her son, Joel D. Spires, Jr.; daughters and son-in-law, Elaine (Mike) Seay; Donna Trotter, Rhonda Kneece; brothers and sister-in-law, Tom (Mary) Burnett; Terry Burnett; twelve grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
