Kay Rice

Brenda "Kay" Rice, 74, of Monetta passed away Friday, April 7, 2023. Born in Key West, Florida, she was a daughter of the the late Paul Joseph and Jerry Collins Welch. Kay loved the outdoors especially gardening and fishing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Kay was a dear soul and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Steven A. Rice of the home; her children, Michael Stein and Stephanie Stein; and six grandchildren, Megan, Stephen Jr., Bryce, Bethany, Katie and Addison. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Welch Lee (Terry King); and brother, Bobby Dean Welch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Stein; and sister, Patricia Ann Patterson.

At Kay's request there will be no formal services.
