Kendra Boyd Davis Tucker, 70, of Saluda, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on June 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Born in Aiken, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John Waters Davis and Betty Ethalyn Bedenbaugh Davis. Kendra worked for many years as a cook and private sitter before retiring. She was a proud member of the Newberry Moose Lodge 2211 in Newberry, South Carolina.

Kendra is survived by her sons, Chaddrick "Chad" Sharpe of Trenton and Jonathan Alewine of Batesburg; daughter, Misty Alewine of Saluda; granddaughters, Amber Key (Colton) of Johnston, Kodie Sharpe of Saluda, and Keiondra Alewine of Saluda; great-grandson, Grayson Hartley of Johnston; great-granddaughters, Naomi Key and Magnolia Key of Johnston, and Emory Myers of Saluda; sisters, Jewell Majerus (Jon) of Edgefield and Lisa Corley of Gilbert. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Debra Davis of Leesville; nephews, Chris Davis of Leesville, Richard "Cawley" Corley (Christie) of Gilbert, Michael Davis of Batesburg, Tim Davis (Tara) of Woodlawn, Tennessee, Kevin Davis of Batesburg, Jon Majerus of Edgefield, and Paul Majerus (Jessie) of Greenville; niece, Kimberly McLeod (Trey) of Columbia; great-nephews, Jamie Majerus of Aiken, Zane Davis of Batesburg, and Avery Davis of Batesburg; and her great-nieces, Eve McLeod of Columbia, Emilee Majerus of Aiken, and Summer Majerus of Edgefield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Glenn Davis and Steve Davis; niece, Brandy Jo Jordan; nephews, William Eugene Jordan and William Patrick Corley; sister-in-law, Lucretia Davis; brother-in-law, Richard "Rick" Corley Sr.; grandmother, Martha Amanda "Granny" Bedenbaugh; grandfather, William Boyd Bedenbaugh; and stepmother, Christine Martin Davis.

A memorial service celebrating Kendra's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville Chapel, with the Reverend Jimmy Counts officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. At Kendra's request she wouldn't have wanted anyone dressing up on her account. In keeping with her wishes, the family kindly requests that everyone come dressed comfortably and casually, just as she would have liked.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Agape Care South Carolina, especially Nurse, Shay Holloway, for the compassionate and genuine care shown to Kendra. They also express their sincere love and appreciation to her devoted caregiver, Wendy Ross, whose kindness and dedication meant so much. Special thanks are also extended to Brooke Noteboom with Your Health; nurses, Alanah Maroney and Shannon Hallman of Amedisys Home Health; and Nurse Practitioner, Veronica Hunter, of Via Health for their exceptional care and support.
