Kim Rene Miller, 67, of Aiken, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026. Born on May 7, 1958, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Eloise Miller. Kim was a woman of remarkable kindness and generosity, known for her giving spirit and her willingness to help anyone in need, often said to be the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back. She devoted her life to caring for others, both personally and professionally, serving as a dedicated nurse who touched countless lives with her compassion.
A loving mother and proud grandmother, Kim found her greatest joy in her family, especially in spending time with her grandchildren. She cherished moments doing arts and crafts with them, creating memories filled with laughter and love. Kim was also deeply gifted musically, with a rare talent for playing nearly any instrument she picked up. Her love for music was matched by her passion for cooking, where she brought people together through meals made with care. She had a vibrant personality and a keen sense of style, always believing that every outfit deserved the perfect pair of shoes. Above all, Kim will be remembered for her warmth, her creativity, and the way she made others feel seen, cared for, and loved.
Surviving are her wife of 35 years, Sharon Lynn Hill; son, Manny Hill (Traci); and grandchildren, Kylar, Johnathan, and Catherine. She is also survived by brothers, Allen, Maurice, Dwayne, Elston, Monique; and extended family members. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her father and mother.
The memorial service to celebrate Kim's life will be held at 4 o'clock on May 7th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Aiken Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Pink Fund or Wounded Warrior Project.
