Lana Mirriam Jones

Lana Mirriam Jones, 70, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 7, at Wayside Baptist Tabernacle Church with Rev. Buckshot Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Friday, March 6, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones was born in Columbia, SC, daughter of the late William Turner and Janie Elizabeth Hartwell. She was married to the late William Edward Jones. Mrs. Jones loved to collect antiques.

Surviving are her children, Elizabeth Ann Askins, Carolyn A. Blackston, James Bryan Askins; grandchildren, Ann Marie Spires, Geraldine Clark, Matthew James Askins, Bruce Richard Osborne, Whitney Michelle Askins, Janie Elizabeth Horne, Samantha Nicole Blackston, Max Noah Spires, William, Mike and Robin Askins; several great grandchildren; two sisters; and first husband, James Bryan Askins, Sr. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
