November 14, 1922 — June 25, 2004
Mrs. Laura Ellen Kessler, 81, wife of the late Kenneth Dheel, died Friday, June 25, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta, GA. Memorial services will be held 3PM, Monday, June 28, 2004 at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, with Dr. Glenn Nichols officiating.
Mrs. Kessler was born in Highcoal, WV, to the late David and Bessie Kelley Richards. Formerly of Kincaid, WV, she was a resident of Beverly Manner Nursing Home where she loved attending all of the church service. She had attended Corinth Baptist Church, New Ellenton, SC. Mrs. Kessler enjoyed playing Bingo and Arts & Crafts.
Survivors include her sons, Kenny Ray and Mary Dheel, Beech Island, SC, Bobby Richards, of CA, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
