Leland Mack "Bucky" Boozer

Leland Mack “Bucky” Boozer, 80, of Batesburg, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date due to COVID-19.

Mr. Boozer was born in Batesburg, SC, a son of the late Leland Rhodes and Frances Margaret Smith Boozer. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed bird and deer hunting and also crappy fishing.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, John. L (Beth) Boozer; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Yonce; grandchildren, Joseph and Anthony Soldo, Josh Quattlebaum; two great grandchildren; siblings, Joe Allen (Bonnie) Boozer, Walter Steven “Steve” Boozer, Nancy Lynn (Pete) Bevans, Margaret Dean (Art) Manchester, Hazel Gayle Boozer. He is also survived by his special friend, Ann Cotham; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Kay Soldo; and his wife, Betty Jane Unger Boozer.
