Leon M. Chodkowski

A Mass of Christian Burial for Leon M. Chodkowski will be celebrated on Thursday, May 8, 2008, at 11:30am at St. Mary Help of Christians Church, Aiken, SC. Interment will be private.

Mr. Chodkowski, 77, of Aiken, died Sunday, May 4, 2008.

A son of the late Frank Michael Chodkowski and Catherine Olewnicka Chodkowski, he was born in Roslyn Heights, Long Island, NY, and had lived in Bethpage, NY, and Summerville, SC, before moving to Aiken in 2002. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a wood working club.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Cathy McGuckin.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Gittings Chodkowski, Aiken; and three children: daughter Laurie and her husband Dennis Watkins, Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Michael and his wife Carla Chodkowski, Naples, FL; daughter BettyAnn Chodkowski, Baltimore, MD; and a son-in-law, Dave McGuckin and, four grandchildren.
