Leroy Davis

Leroy “Lala” Davis, 72, of Batesburg, passed away March 27, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, March 30, at Praise Church with Pastor Tom Mims officiating. Visitation will be held after the service at the church.

Mr. Davis was born in Saluda, SC, son of the late Charles Otis and Evelyn Eidson Davis. He was a US National Guard Army Veteran Sergeant of 28 years and a member of the NCO Club where he enjoyed going to his “Geezer” meetings on Tuesdays. He loved wood working, gardening, spending time with his family, shopping, road trips, and spending time at Edisto Beach. Mr. Davis attended Praise Church.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Brenda Hook Davis; sons and daughter-in-law, Jamie (Kellie) Davis; Lee Davis; niece, Angela Davis (Chuck) Robison; grandchildren, Wyatt Davis; Eve, Austin and Liam Robison; brother, Gene Davis; sisters, Sarah Davis; Margaret Davis (Dean) Lominick. He was preceded in death by brother, Charles Ray Davis, and sister, Louise Davis Parham.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
