Lide Roy Gray

Lide Roy Gray, 86, of Leesville, passed away Friday, January 8th, 2021. A private family burial will be held.

Mr. Gray was born in Columbia, SC, a son of the late Lee Roy Gray and Rose May Klinger. He was married to the late Joyce Long Gray for 57 years. He was a United Airforce Veteran and a member of the Sons of the Confederacy Veterans of S.C. Paul Quattlebaum Camp. Mr. Gray was a member of Celebrations Church, where he was in the Men’s Ministry.

Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn Yancey (Rusty Yancey), Sharon Smith (Dr. Norman R. Smith), Susann Aaron (Ben Aaron, Sr); eleven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike; sister, Patsy; and a grandson, Caleb.
