Lucile Anne Wilson

Texas belle, Lucile Ann Vahrenkamp Wilson, 89, born in Killeen, TX, passed away on December 7, 2007 at the Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia, SC, with her children at her bedside. She was the daughter of the late Henry F. Vahrenkamp and Lena Agnes Temple Vahrenkamp.

She was a loving mother, devoted wife and enjoyed gardening, travel, and her grandchildren. Prior to her residency at Laurel Crest Retirement Center, she had lived in Wagener, SC.

In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband; Harold David Wilson, Woodstock, IL and siblings; Robert Vahrenkamp, Edna Batts, Ellenora Barton and Gertrude Winkler.

She is survived by her daughter; Kay Fowler, Lexington, SC, and two sons; Bill Wilson Marie and Ken Wilson Ann, both of Leesville, SC. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great, grandchildren.

Private services were held with the immediate family present. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one?s choice.
