Lucille Lewis Johnson

Lucille Lewis Johnson, 86, of Raleigh NC, and formerly of Aiken SC died Tuesday April 29, 2008 in Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Johnson was born on October 25, 1921 in Horry County SC to the late Sweet Pinckney Lewis and the late Lula Belle Smith Lewis.

Mrs. Johnson was also predeceased by her husband Neil O. Johnson in 1992. She is survived by her daughter Becky J. Oatsvall and her husband Mike Oatsvall of Raleigh; two grandchildren; Jessica M. Oatsvall and Neil S. Oatsvall and his wife Sarah of Raleigh, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday May 8, 2008 in the Chapel of George Funeral Home in Aiken, SC, Interment will follow in the Aiken Memorial Garden.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Study Abroad Scholarship Fund % Meredith College, 3800 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh NC 27607.
