Lucille Pawlik

A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Lucille Pawlik will be celebrated on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 1pm at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm with a wake service at 7:30pm on Friday, May 2, 2008 at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Vincent De Paul Society of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, P.O. Box 438, Aiken, SC 29802-0438.

Mrs. Pawlik, 99, was born on the 4th of July in 1908 in Chicago, and died Monday, April 28, 2008, at her current residence in Aiken, SC.

Raised in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Josephine Stiso. She moved to Aiken in 2006. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. She was dedicated to helping and caring for her family and children.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Pawlik. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Ann Mark and son-in-law, Art Mark, Aiken; brother, Nick Stiso, and sisters, Phyllis Stiso, Mary Palma, Stella Cobleigh, Carmella Valaskovic, all from the Chicago, Illinois area; ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
