Marbel Lopez

Marbel Guadalupe Lopez, 24, of Newberry, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023. Mr. Lopez was born in Newberry, SC, a son of Jorge Lopez and Crystal Lopez. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his fiancé, Marilena Alvarado; mother and step-father, Crystal Lopez (Julio); father and step-mother, Jorge Lopez (Josephina); siblings, Jorge Lopez, Rigoberto Lopez, Carlos Lopez, Julian Cortes, Jesus Cortes, Juan Cortes, Mateo Cortes, Alayna Cortes; as well as his aunt, Carla Balleza (Fernando).

The memorial service for Marbel will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 19th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Preacher Shawn Hanks officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of his aunt, Carla.
