Margie Clark Fender

Margie Clark Fender, 86, of Batesburg, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022. Born in Jefferson, SC, she was a daughter of the late James and Janie Chapman Clark. Mrs. Fender was married to the late James Warren Fender, Sr. for more than 56 years. She was a long-time member of Mt. Ebal Baptist Church.

Mrs. Fender is survived by a son, James W. "Bo" Fender, Jr. (Susan); and grandsons, Thomas James Fender and Matthew Clark Fender. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Wendell Clark Fender; and siblings, Charles, Duncan, Christine, Katie, Frances, Sarah, and James.

The service for Mrs. Fender will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, December 16th at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Paulling officiating. The burial ceremony will be private at Ridge Crest Memorial Park.
