Funeral services for Marine Cpl. Matthew Dillon will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Millbrook Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 19, 2006 from 6-8pm at Millbrook Baptist Church. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Aiken is assisting the family.

Marine Cpl. Dillon, 25, of Aiken, died Monday, December 11, 2006 while on patrol in the Ambar province of Iraq.

Matthew was a beloved son, brother, and friend to many. He exhibited a zest for life and a love for his country that was beyond compare. Matthew's earthly body is gone, however his love and energy lives forever in every life he touched. We love you Matt.
