Mark Anthony Collins

Mark Anthony Collins, 58, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, he was a son of Roger Collins and the late Mary Queen Collins.

Mark was a simple man who found happiness in the little things in life. He enjoyed computers and collecting baseball cards, and especially loved finding new places to eat with his dad, a pastime that brought them many good memories. Mark had a kind heart and a special love for animals. Above all, he loved his family and treasured the time he was able to spend with those closest to him.

Mark is survived by his father, Roger Collins; sister, Deborah Bradford (David); niece, Kristin Nelson (Jan); nephew, Brett Bradford; great-nieces and nephew, Mary Grace, Scott, and Josephine Nelson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. In addition to his mother, Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edwin and Mary Collins; and his maternal grandparents, Mary and Drayton Fallaw and Kenneth Queen.

A graveside service for Mark will be held at 11 o'clock on Saturday, August 15th at Lexington Memorial Cemetery. Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville Chapel, is assisting the family.
