Mary Ellen Holsenback

Funeral services for Mary Ellen Holsenback, 81, of Aiken, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Officiating will be Rev. Judy Randall & Rev. Stephen Phillips. Burial will follow at Clearwater Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Holsenback, widow of Everett D. Holsenback, Sr., passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late John and Harriette Riley McCravy. She was a homemaker and loved to sing gospel music, a true Christian and she loved the lord. She was preceded in death by her sons, Danny and Eddie Holsenback.

Surviving are her daughter, Elaine Holsenback Jackson (Johnny, Sr.) ; a son, Russell Holsenback (Erica): a sister, Geneva Cook (Gene) all of Aiken; a brother, John B. McCravy (Nell) of Swansea; 8 grandchildren, Kim Jackson Ray, Johnny O. Jackson, Jr., Joshua D. Jackson, Price Parker, Britt Holsenback, Anna Grace Parker, Layla Holsenback and Maris Holsenback; and 6 great-grandchildren.
