Mary K. Broughton, 88, of Leesville, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. She was born in Matoaca, VA, daughter of the late James W. and Minnie E. (Hines) Kidd. She was a member of Steadman Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 9, at Steadman Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Truett officiating. Surviving are her son, James Mikel Smith. She was preceded in death by sister, Bernice Bowman; and brothers, Harvy and Lawrence Kidd. Memorials may be made to Pets, Inc., 300 Orchard Drive, West Columbia, SC 29171.
