Mary H. Mcgahee

Funeral services for Mary H. McGahee, 83, of Aiken, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. McGahee, widow of Thomas McGahee, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016. Born in Jefferson County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Josh and Janie McTier Hadden. She was a lifetime area resident and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Mrs. McGahee was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Hadden Rooks.

Survivors include her sons, Guy McGahee (Teresa) and Charles McGahee, all of Aiken; brothers, Thomas Hadden (Linda) of Crestview, Florida and Lester Hadden (Peggy) of Wrens, Georgia; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
