Graveside services for Mrs. Mary R. Moates will be held at 1pm on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight Wednesday from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken with a wake service at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of your choice.
Mrs. Moates, 82, of Aiken, died Monday, January 11, 2010 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Mrs. Moates was a long time downtown Aiken business owner and a parishioner of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Moates, daughter, Marsha Roger Rodgers, Aiken; grand children, Chad Saunders, and Alan Rodgers.
