Maxine Roselee Ward

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Maxine Roselee Ward will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 11am at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Jerome W. Lewis officiating.For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's research.

Mrs. Ward, 75, of Beech Island, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at UniHealth PAC, Aiken. A daughter of the late William Ralph Osborn and Edith Myrtle Rogers Osborn, she was born in Clarksburg, WV, where she lived before moving to Beech Island in 2002.

Maxine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Charles Eugene Ward, Jr. and a brother, Donald Osborn. She is survived by her husband, Charles Eugene Ward, Sr., Beech Island, a daughter, L. Diane Ed Martin, Aiken; five brothers, William Osborn, CA, Gene Osborn and John Osborn, FL, Kenneth Osborn, Clarksburg, WV and Roger Osborn, Morgantown, WV; three sisters, Madalene Dean and Marvalene Wilt, Clarksburg, WV and Madge Jones, Cumberland, OH; a granddaughter, Star Crossland Whitfield, Aiken; and two great granddaughters, Melissa M. Ward, Prosperity, SC and Haley A. Crossland, Aiken, SC.
