Melvin Gunn

Melvin Gunn, 73, of Leesville, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 20, at Convent Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Travis Crumpton officiating.

Melvin was born in Iva, SC son of the late Harvey Lee Gunn and Della Gunn. He was a carpenter. He was an Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was married to the late Barbara J. Gunn.

Surviving are his daughter, Kristi Vuocolo (Joseph) of Lexington; step-sons, Staley Arthur Clemmer; William Crouch (Sandra) all of Leesville; sisters, Elizabeth Wessinger of Charlotte, NC; Irene Branham of Lexington; Sue Poston of Rock Hill. Eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Johnny Gunn; half-brother, Paul Gunn; sisters, Lois Adkins and Evelyn Murphy.
