Michael Wayne Church

AIKEN, SC – Michael Wayne Church, age 67, entered into rest February 16, 2021, at Aiken Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.

Michael was born August 29, 1953 in Pike County, KY to the late Von and Edna Church. He was a resident of Aiken for the past twenty-three years. He was a retired truck driver and loved computers and music. He will be remembered for being a great person.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth and Victoria; and a brother, David.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Church; a son, Christopher Michael Church (Billie); four granddaughters, Sydney, Josie, Kennedy, and London; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Audie Teran; friends that were more like family, George and Shirley Collert; daughter, Sara Rebecca Ward.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 20, 2021 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at George Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 4:00 p.m. in The George Funeral Chapel with The Rev. K. Scott Ayers officiating.
