Mr. Michael Andrew Maher, 58, of Aiken and formerly of Berkely, CA, died Wednesday December 27, 2007 at his residence

Mr. Maher was born in South Plainfield, NJ, a son of the late Michael Lee and Clara Kulthau Maher. He graduated High School in New Jersey and served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Cedar Creek Church in Aiken

In addition to his parents Mr. Maher was predeceased by a sister Arlene Anderson.

Mr. Maher is survived by the love of his life, Terry Houghton, Aiken SC, a brother Pat Maher, NJ, a sister MalitaJoe Martin, Bluffton SC, two nieces; Christine Maher, NJ, and DawnWaltChitthum, Bluffton, SC, two Nephews Michael Maher and Scott Martin, NJ, three step-daughters; Kimberly Goodwin, Alicia Melia and Melissa Bishop, Aiken, one step-son; Bryan Bishop, Aiken, one brother-in-law Bill Anderson, Aiken and a special friend Eleanor Houghton, Aiken.
