Milford Blakely Sr.

Milford Oakie Blakely Sr., 78, of Leesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Mr. Blakely was born in War, West Virginia and was a son of the late James and Isabel Weippert Blakely. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Mr. Blakely worked as an Assistant Warehouse Manager for Mudge Paper and was married to the late Marylee Megenhardt Blakely.

Surviving are his sons, Milford Oakie Blakely Jr (Susan) of Catonsville, MD and Jeffery Lee Blakely (Natalie) of Centerville, IN. He is also survived by a brother, Clarence Blakely (Jane) of Leesville, SC and his five grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, Mathieu (Abigail), Stephanie and Grace Blakely. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Edith Blakely Guyot and Mae Blakely Megenhardt; and brother, Marvin Blakely.
