Milton Hunt Foster

Mr. Milton Hunt Foster, 76, of Aiken, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be private and are under the direction of George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Aiken.

A son of the late Milton Hunt Foster Sr. and Lola Young Foster, he was born in Culleoka, TN. He had lived in McLean, VA before moving to Aiken seven years ago. He served in the Marine Corps at the end of the Korean War and had a long career as an electrical engineer for Unisys Corp. He was an avid golfer, enjoying the camaraderie as much as the game itself.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three children, Kenneth Foster, Patricia Foster and Katherine Foster and two siblings, Joe Foster and Dot Adcock. He is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Bettie Pomeroy Foster, Aiken, three daughters, Linda Beaty, Falls Church, VA, Lisa Garrett, Stafford, VA and Laura Foster, Falls Church, VA and a sister, Dora Swafford, Columbia, TN. He was also survived by four grandchildren.
