Minima McCaul Rust

Minima Lillian McCaul Rust, 82, of Leesville, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025. Born in Merritt Island, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Margaret Elizabeth McCaul. Minima was a member of Charity Community Church. She found great joy in working outdoors, tending to her flower beds and garden. Minima found joy in the kitchen, where she was known for her delicious meals.

Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Larry Rust; children, Samuel Deason (Robin), Robert Deason, and Daphane Ann Deason Senecal (Stephen); step-children, Lisa Rust, Ryan Rust (Mandy), and Kelly Rust; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, seven step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Libby Gouler and Sandy Taylor (Quincey).

The graveside service for Minima will be held at 11:00 o'clock on Monday, September 15th, in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, GA, 30906, with Pastor Mike Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 o'clock on Sunday, September 14, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
