Mrs. Mitchell, 81, of Aiken, died Wednesday evening, March 21, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A daughter of the late Harry S. and Mary Myrtle VanAlstien Goodman, she was born in Park City, UT. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband, Harold S. Mitchell. She is survived by a son, Michael D. Mitchell, Aiken, SC; four daughters, Patricia F. McClellan, Aiken, SC, Sharon J. Jones, Aiken, SC, Nancy A. Peterson, Alta Loma, CA and Gayle L. Mitchell, Victorville, CA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter.
