Nadia E. Boufawaz

With deep sorrow and loving hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Nadia Boufawaz, who was called home to the Lord on December 15, 2025, at the age of 90. She was a loving and devoted mother, a cherished grandmother, and a woman of gentle spirit and quiet faith. Known for her tender heart, she brought comfort, peace, and love to everyone she encountered. Her kindness reflected God’s love, and her life was a blessing to all who knew her.

Though we grieve her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she now rests in God’s eternal peace, surrounded by His light and love. She will forever remain in our hearts, and her memory will continue to guide us until we are reunited again.

She is survived by her children: Kim (Dianne), Jacky (Tony), Marlene (Assaad), and Nada (Samir); seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Elias, and her beloved grandson, Nicholas.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 1541 Lake Murray Blvd., Columbia, SC 29212, with burial immediately following in the church cemetery. Pastor Walt Harper will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the service.
