With deep sorrow and immeasurable love, we announce the passing of Nicholas Robert Bottini, who left us far too soon on May 22, 2025. Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on September 25, 1986, Nick was a beacon of light, warmth, and unwavering kindness in the lives of all who knew him.
Nick made his home in Swansea, South Carolina, where he built a life grounded in love, laughter, and family. A devoted husband to Kendra Marie Bottini and an adoring father to Annabelle Rose Bottini, Nick’s greatest joy was found in the time spent with them—exploring nature, sharing laughter, and nurturing the kind of bond that can never be broken.
Nick was the beloved son of Anne Elizabeth Bottini and Mark Anthony Bottini, and the cherished brother of Adam Sullivan Bottini and Krista Anne Bottini. His family meant everything to him, and his loyalty, generosity, and humor were the glue that held many hearts together.
Known for his infectious smile, compassionate spirit, and deep love for animals—especially reptiles—Nick was a passionate member of the reptile community. His contributions to short-tailed python genealogy and his dedication to ethical husbandry and education have left a lasting impact that will be remembered for years.
Nick brought people together—whether through his wit, his willingness to lend a hand, or the sheer joy of being in his presence. He had a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and loved, and he never hesitated to encourage those around him to live authentically and pursue their passions.
He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, integrity, and unconditional love.
He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
The family request in lieu of flowers please donate in Nick's name to USARK (https://usark.org).
