Graveside services for Mr. Nixon Taylor Crosby will be held at 10am on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in Rose Hill Cemetery, Rockmart, GA with Rev. Brian Gilmer officiating. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken is assisting the family. Mr. Crosby, 86, of Aiken, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Pepper Hill Nursing Center.

Born in Waycross, GA, he was the son of the late, Lloyd and Sallie Sweat Crosby. He moved to Aiken in 1993 from Waycross, GA. He received a bachelor's degree in Business from the University of GA. He was a retired Major from the United States Air Force and an insurance underwriter from Traveler's Insurance. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Methodist Men's Club, and a Mason at Cascade Lodge #94 F&AM, Atlanta, GA

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Elaine Crosby, son, Bill Crosby, four sisters, and one brother. He is survived by his sons, Sam Annette Crosby, Lakeland, FL, Richard Jimsie Crosby, Jeff Betty Crosby, both of Aiken, Harry Crosby, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
